Vehicle Swept Path Analysis

Turnaround in as little as 24 Hours!

SPA is often asked for by the Highway Authority during the application determination period, so we understand the importance of a quick, professional turnaround.

JG Highway Design can complete all your Swept Path Analysis (SPA) requirements to help produce your final site layout design and subsequent planning application. We have worked with individual home owners and large developers to produce SPA in response to issues raised during the planning process, either pre-application or within a live application determination period. These interventions have often been the turning point in ensuring highway acceptance of the planning application.

Emergency Services

Supermarket Delivery Vehicles

HGVs

Large Estate Cars

However, SPA can be created for any vehicle and we have an extensive ‘library’ of over 1000 vehicle types to meet the majority of challenges. Should a specific vehicle be required that is not in our library, JG Highway Design provides a bespoke ‘vehicle build’ service.

We approached John, at JG Highway Design, for detailed Swept Path Analysis to determine the best route for a temporary haul road for a range of vehicles, during construction for a large residential development. With the analysis done, John was able to design the haul road and include passing places at crucial areas. He was able to deliver the analysis quickly, which was imperative as the results had quite an impact on the planning of the site.

I would be happy to recommend John for your SPA needs!
